England's men continued their Champions Trophy preparations with a second nine-a-side victory in Perth, Australia.
The International Super Series Hockey 9s sees smaller teams play on a full-size pitch with goals that are one metre wider.
After winning their opening match against India 2-1 on Thursday, England made it two out of two with a 4-2 win over Pakistan on Friday.
England play Australia on Saturday, with final places determined on Sunday.
The new form of hockey, played over two
periods of 20 rather than 35 minutes, is an attempt to create more
goal-scoring opportunities.
England have
taken a squad of 18 players to Australia,
including six making their international debuts and five who were
members of the Great Britain squad that finished fourth at London 2012.
The Champions Trophy begins in Melbourne on 1 December, and England will play Olympic Champions Germany, New Zealand and India in their group.
